Why the Westside

Poppy is based in Pacific Palisades. Our partner clinics are on the Westside, so most of the people we work with are a short drive from the care they need.

Being local matters. We can meet you in person, we know the roads and the clinics, and we can show up when it counts. We also work with surrogates, donors and intended parents across Southern California.

How we work

We are small on purpose. Poppy is founder-led, and we take on a limited number of matches at a time so each one gets real attention.

You get one case lead from start to finish. Funds are held in independent escrow. Every party has a separate lawyer. We tell you what we know, and we tell you when we do not know yet.

Our partners

How we treat donors and surrogates

Surrogates and donors make this possible, and we treat them that way. Pay is clear and written down before anything starts: from $10,000 per cycle for egg donors, and from $65,000 plus benefits for surrogates.

You have your own lawyer, your own say in the match and a direct line to our team. We check in often, and we keep checking in after the birth or retrieval. Nothing here is legal or medical advice. Your lawyer and your doctor are there for that.

We started Poppy in Pacific Palisades because we wanted a smaller agency. One where surrogates and donors are treated as partners, and intended parents always know who to call. We keep the team small and the promises plain.
